GWI has begun the annual process of selecting the ‘best of the best’ in the international water industry for the past year. Readers are invited to visit www.globalwaterawards.com to submit nominations for projects, companies and utilities that they think should be recognized in each of 12 categories, including the best desal company, desal plant, desal deal, water reuse project, water technology company and best example of water stewardship.

Nominations will close on 31 January. After this date, the nominations received will be reviewed by an expert panel and then compiled into a shortlist and published. Electronic voting can then take place and will be restricted to subscribers to WDR and Global Water Intelligence, and individual members of the International Desalination Association, with one vote per category for each subscribed reader.

Winners will be announced at the Global Water Summit in Paris, France, on 7 April 2014. For more information on the Summit, visitwww.watermeetsmoney.com.
